Judith Roark

I have felt compelled to put color to paper over and over throughout my life. I attempted an art class in college where the instructor told me there were no such things as purple mountains----I did not try another class for 50 years.

Now I am committed to being a learner, a beginner, a trier-of-new-things. It is a joy to play with color and form and to be stretched into new places in my being.

I am drawn to nature, painting watercolors of landscapes, animals, plants, trees. I work from photographs, many of which I have taken.

Note cards (blank) of my paintings are available at RoarkPhotography.net.
