Painting watercolors is my passion. I have always been interested in art, especially Impressionist Art. Watercolor paintings hold a special fascination for me. There is something about the transparency and softness of the medium that captivates me and holds my interest. I promised myself that I would take watercolor classes after I retired from work and have been pursuing my goal with great gratification. The beauty of nature inspires me, and I have discovered that I see light, color, shapes and shadows much differently now than before I began painting. I enjoy the creative process of producing a painting as well as the relaxation and satisfaction that painting brings to me.
